The US government continues to award new contracts to maintain and upgrade its massive health IT apparatus.

Here are four recent health IT contracting awards:

  1. General Dynamics has been awarded a five-year, $110 million contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide IT and service desk support to the VA.
  2. ServiceNow has been awarded a five-year, $250 million IT maintenance contract from the Department of Health and Human Services. Government IT contractor Carahsoft is a contract partner.
  3. Seventeen companies were awarded five-year, $650 million contracts from the VA. The companies will compete to fulfill the VA IT task order.
  4. Maximus was awarded a 10-year, $6.6 billion contract from CMS to support CMS contact centers.
