The company seeks to promote managed services and cybersecurity presence in the South
Thrive Managed Services acquires IT management services company InCare Technologies to expand its customer base in the Southern US This is the company’s fourth acquisition in the past six months.
Founded in 2000, Thrive Managed Services manages cybersecurity, cloud and collaboration functions on behalf of businesses to avoid harassment of their internal IT resources.
“InCare Technologies is one of the best managed service providers we’ve had the privilege to work with,” said Thrive CEO Rob Stephenson. “Their operational maturity, management team, employee technical acumen and commitment to customer service make them the perfect partner for Thrive to anchor our Southern expansion.”
InCare Technologies deals primarily with health care providers, local authorities, schools and businesses. The company’s managed services include proactive IT support and holistic outsourced tech management as well as cybersecurity.
It is also hoped that acquiring InCare will help Thrive strengthen its existing presence ServiceNow platform and sophisticated 24x7x365 Security Operations Center, as well as public, private and hybrid cloud solutions.
IoT represents a current threat to enterprise IT networks. Thrive’s fully integrated cybersecurity platform aims to capture small to medium-sized businesses. It incorporates a unified anti-intrusion platform as well as Thrive5 methodology and a security-first slant in all its support services..
Small businesses seeking to derive value from digital transformation and cloud-driven artificial intelligence are hampered by a lack of internal IT resources compared to larger peers. Enrolling with a managed service provider will help them implement IoT through external channels securely and provide expertise when internal devices do not perform as expected.
“Since its inception, InCare Technologies has been committed to helping our customers stay productive and secure as they look to streamline their IT operations,” said Brian Walker, CEO of InCare Technologies. “By partnering with Thrive, we will further advance that cause by improving the way we serve our clients through advanced technologies, innovation and enhanced efficiency.”
