As market opportunities expand, ServiceNow evaluates a strong leadership team

SANTA CLARA, Calif .– (BUSINESS WIRE)-ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the leading digital workflow company that makes the world a better place for everyone, today announced leadership promotions that will take effect to its global executive team. These expanded roles reflect the impressive global demand for ServiceNow as well as the ability of executive leaders to retain our 16,000-plus inspired global workforce and to recruit the next generation of talent.

Executive leadership promotions include:

  • Chief Product and Engineering Officer Chirantan “CJ” Desai was promoted to chief operating officer (COO). As COO, Desai will now be responsible for industry and solution sales in addition to product, design, and engineering, and will help accelerate ServiceNow’s focus on industry solutions while driving continued leadership in the platform.

  • Chief Revenue Officer Kevin Haverty was promoted to a new strategic role as senior adviser to the CEO. Haverty will work to expand ServiceNow’s footprint in the public sector and teach early career professionals throughout the company, a key talent group for ServiceNow.

  • President of EMEA Paul Smith was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. Smith will oversee all sales teams in the region, as well as enabling sales and sales operations. He will work with Havety to ensure a smooth transition.

In addition, in Feb. 1, 2022, will meet ServiceNow former Salesforce and executive of Coca-Cola Ulrik Nehammer as our new president of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
