Barracuda Networks is the latest MSP -focused software company that uses the SentinelOne Singularity XDR platform to help MSPs prevent, identify and respond to cyber threats, according to the companies.
The partnership comes nearly six months after Barracuda acquired Skout Cybersecurity, a Top 250 MSSP that develops XDR and Security Operations Center (SOC) solutions for MSPs. Fast forward to the present, and MSPs can purchase and use SentinelOne’s XDR platform using Barracuda’s SKOUT Managed XDR service to streamline threat analysis, detection and incident reporting, the company.
In addition, MSPs using Barracuda RMM can use SentinelOne’s capabilities to monitor and assess their customers ’security posture, the companies said. This helps MSPs protect their customers against current and emerging threats.
SentinelOne MSP Software Partnerships, Singularity Integrations
Take a good look at the deal, and SentinelOne has quietly developed security partnerships with several MSP -focused software companies backed by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. Other SentinelOne relationships include companies such as ConnectWise and N-able.
The Barracuda partnership came after SentinelOne announced in January 2022 the following Singularity mergers:
- Automox: Provides vulnerability detection and remediation.
- Blue Hexagon: Helps users identify and prevent malware and ransomware in the cloud.
- Keysight: It allows users to simulate threats and analyze the risks associated with them.
- Remediant: Allows users to implement zero trust solutions in cloud, hybrid and on-premises infrastructure.
- Service Today: It enables IT and security teams to use ServiceNow’s Security Incident Response (SIR) solution with Singularity to automate incident response, the two companies said.
The singularity delivers AI-based threat prevention, detection, response and hunting, SentinelOne said. It helps users protect their endpoints, containers, cloud workload and Internet of Things (IoT) devices against cyberattacks.
Meanwhile, SentinelOne reported its annual recurring revenue from MSSP-focused channel partners to rise more than 300 percent annually in the third quarter of fiscal 2022. SentinelOne also looks ready to explore new integrations. and other opportunities to extend its channel reach in the market.
MDR and EDR Software Services: Many Options for MSPs and MSSPs
Although SentinelOne has momentum, competition for MSPs in the SMB market remains fierce. In fact, many XDR and MDR (managed detection and response) companies have developed cloud, software, and services to help MSPs safeguard small business systems and customer data.
