Google Cloud has announced the appointment of Helen Kelisky as its new managing director for the UK and Ireland
The new appointment will be responsible for Google Cloud’s business leadership across the UKI region, as well as leading sales strategy and continuing development of its go-to-market sales operations.
Kelisky will focus on supporting the growth and size of Google Cloud customers in a variety of industries, building on the momentum of 2021, which has seen a range of new customer wins.
Bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience in tech sales, Kelisky joined from Opentext, where he served as vice-president of B2B EMEA sales.
Prior to this, he held the role of senior vice-president of cloud sales at Salesforce, founded and led the cloud sales organization for UKI, and set the strategy to ensure continued double digit growth.
Still, Kelisky spent more than seven years in vice president positions at IBM, leading cloud business operations at UKI, leading the company’s digital transformation and strategy to ‘think and act first in the cloud ‘.
A champion for diversity, equality and inclusion, Kelisky also serves on the board of directors for Women in Telecom and Technology (WiTT), a non-profit networking group dedicated to education and enhancing women’s careers.
