Elite-level ServiceNow solution provider NewRocket has brought a fourth ServiceNow partner under its umbrella with this month’s acquisition of Service Stack Technologies.
With the acquisition, NewRocket gained a foothold in the Indian ServiceNow market, expanded its ServiceNow business opportunities in Europe and Asia, and gained exclusive access to a team with which NewRocket has collaborated in the past, said Matt Stoyka, CEO of San Diego, Calif. Based solution provider.
“The Service Stack team is noticeably talented and skilled and has expanded our capabilities at ServiceNow,” Stoyka told CRN. “We worked with them for many years, so we saw how they worked with us. We’re very complementary organizations. ”

NewRocket is also getting a pool of talent that can be hard to come by, Stoyka said.
“It’s not so many skills that we don’t have, but skills that complement us,” he said. “They have skillsets in all ServiceNow Workflows and quality assurance, and they will help expand our skills. And they have a very strong client base working directly with them, mainly in Europe and some in APAC (Asia-Pacific). And they are one of the few ServiceNow Elite level partners there. ”
NewRocket and Service Stack Technologies have partnered on several client -facing projects around the world, Stoyka said. The acquisition of Pune, India-based Service Stack makes sense for NewRocket, he said.
“It’s really 1+1 = 3,” he said. “It allows us to take their phenomenal core and strengthen it faster, and it allows us to act faster together.”
Stoyka refused to discuss the cost of the acquisition. However, he said the Service Stack has about 80 employees to add to the 425 employees that NewRocket has. That 425 employees included a small group in India.
Prior to Service Stack Technologies, NewRocket had made several other acquisitions related to ServiceNow since its inception when San Francisco -based private equity firm Gryphon Investors acquired Highmetric in May of 2021.
At the same time, Gryphon also acquired Fishbone Analytics and Iceberg Networks and combined them with Highmetric to create what it calls the largest pure-play ServiceNow partner in the world.
Highmetric followed in September the acquisition of NewRocket, a San Diego -based solution provider focused on designing the user experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem and developing solutions that help simplify processes and deliver services. digital experience with global customers including Fortune 100 companies.
Those companies, along with a UK -based ServiceNow partner called Vorto acquired by Highmetric before Gryphon Investors entered, merged last month under the NewRocket brand.
