Cybersecurity software company SentinelOne promoted Mark Parrinello in chief sales officerat Eran Ashkenazi to the customer’s chief officer, effective immediately.
In his previous role as SVP of global sales, Parrinello led the SentinelOne sales organization, which expanded the company’s presence and segmentation across Americas, EMEA, and APJ, SentinelOne said. Meanwhile, Ashkenazi previously created and operated threat services, including its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service.
In a prepared statement about the promotions, SentinelOne COO Nicholas Warner said:

The promotions arrive less than a week before SentinelOne’s next quarterly earnings call, scheduled for March 15, 2022.

The executive updates come amid SentinelOne’s continued partner momentum with software companies, MSSP, MSP and MDR security service providers. Key moves and relationships include:
- Barracuda Networks: The Singularity XDR platform is used to help MSPs prevent, identify and respond to cyber threats.
- Automox: Provides vulnerability detection and remediation.
- Blue Hexagon: Helps users identify and prevent malware and ransomware in the cloud.
- Keysight: It allows users to simulate threats and analyze the risks associated with them.
- Remediant: Allows users to implement zero trust solutions in cloud, hybrid and on-premises infrastructure.
- Service Today: Enables IT and security teams to use ServiceNow’s Security Incident Response (SIR) solution with Singularity to automate incident response.
Take a closer look at the market, and SentinelOne has also developed security partnerships with several MSP -focused software companies backed by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. Other SentinelOne relationships include companies such as ConnectWise and N-able.

SentinelOne executive updates come a day after rival CrowdStrike promoted McAfee and Sophos veteran Michael Rogers as vice president of global business development, channels and alliances-essentially, global channel chief. Rogers was succeeded by Matthew Polly, who moved to VP of North America mid-market sales at the cybersecurity company.
Amid the channel leader transition, CrowdStrike has a channel partner and MSSP momentum. For fiscal year 2022, CrowdStrike’s MSSP business grew more than 200% year-on-year. However, the company’s self -managed security and response (MDR) services are also popular on the direct selling front.
