Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently issued a $ 340 million solicitation to establish Multiple Award (MA), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts within four distinct domains for platform -related services as a service (PaaS), hyperautomation, collaborative services, and visualization.
Known as the Scalable Ways to Implement Flexible Tasks (SWIFT) solicitation, it can be used by ICE on a case-by-case basis, with approval possibly given to other parts of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of ICE SWIFT contracting. officer and program manager.
According to the joint summary and recruitment notice, each IDIQ award will have a minimum guarantee of $ 2,500 for each IDIQ awarded to each domain that does not get a task order within the five-year ordering period. The total cumulative value of all work orders across all four domains will not exceed $ 340 million.
ICE said there could be up to eight contract awardees – with two per domain – whose PaaS and collaborative domain services are not restricted, and visualization and hyperautomation domains are reserved for small businesses. . The agency breaks down each of the domains as follows:
- The PaaS domain covers ICE’s SystemNow and Dynamics, and aims to develop workflow automation to improve the user experience through self-service mobility;
- Hyperautomation uses emerging technologies such as ML and RPA to identify, evaluate, and automate IT processes;
- Visualization covers dashboards and reporting using Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, and other emerging services aimed at deploying a mobile app before Q3 of fiscal year 2022; at
- Collaborative services cover SharePoint and ICE.gov, along with a digitized deployment process for customer initiation.
