NYSE -listed software company ServiceNow on Thursday launched two local data center facilities in Mumbai and Bengaluru to help Indian customers embrace innovative digital solutions and meet local data preferences residency.

The new data centers enable more financial services, technology and other regulated verticals. to reap the benefits of a single, unified ServiceNow Platform for digital business. ”
Mike Lents, senior vice president of ServiceNow Global Cloud Services, said the new data centers are large sites for ServiceNow with the full network and capacity to deliver scalable performance and increased sustainability. “ServiceNow has certified Data Center Sustainability Professionals (CDCSP) who serve our customers and partners in every region we operate, including Asia Pacific.”
With forecasts for the India data center market to grow by more than 15% by 2027, ServiceNow said it has invested in new data center locations with sustainability as a top priority.
“These data centers provide ServiceNow customers and partners with a sustainable way to responsibly source cloud data hosting in India and contribute positively to their own ESG commitments,” Lents said.
ServiceNow also said that a total of 18,000 people will be trained and certified in India by the end of 2022, along with partners and customers, to meet the growing demand for ServiceNow product specialists.
