SCHWYZ, Switzerland, April 20, 2022 / PRNewswire/ – Hedera Hashgraph has entered into a strategic partnership with Swiss Digital Assets Institute (SDAI) – a professional training and education company – for delivering a custom designed worldwide “Hashgraph Innovation Program” from Switzerland. Provided by Hedera USD 16.3M amount of hbar in grant funding to new reconstruction, non-profit Swiss Hashgraph Association for the ramp-up phase of their Hashgraph Innovation Program, to be delivered by SDAI. This training and innovation program aims to empower innovative startups, businesses, and government institutions around the world to design and develop business -level solutions and decentralized applications in the Hedera network.
The Hedera network is owned and operated by members of the Hedera Council, a group of the world’s leading organizations responsible for network management, operating nodes, and allocating the treasury of network hbar. Last year, the Council approved the allocation of 10.7 billion hbars (~ 20% of the total supply), worth $ 5 billion at that time, to further develop the Hedera ecosystem.
The Hashgraph Innovation Program is structured to be delivered over five years and in three stages of implementation. Program participants who qualify and receive a grant from the Swiss Hashgraph Association will go through three stages of development, starting with 1. Learn and Discover (training and ideation workshops), followed by 2. Visualize and Design (design-think and proof-of-concept modeling) and ends with 3. Build and Deploy (minimum viable product development and integration). Startups with high-potential business plans will be eligible to receive HBAR grants up to $ 250,000businesses up to $ 750,000and government initiatives will receive up to $ 1,500,000 in co-investment funding.
