The New Plymouth District Council has a vision to be the sustainable living capital of New Zealand. A partnership with ServiceNow and Red Moki, a robust, digitized and streamlined way to manage large council infrastructure projects has been implemented. This allows the council to manage projects in 30-year planning cycles down to the smaller external and internal requirements of the project management office.

Delerue is a senior project manager with 20 years of leadership experience on complex projects and teams. After graduating from Ecole Centrale Marseille with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, he worked as a project manager in France, Morocco, New Caledonia and New Zealand.
Delerue began working for Shell in 2012 as a senior project manager, responsible for delivering offshore and onshore multidisciplinary projects, becoming a project team leader in 2014. In 2019, he joined the New Plymouth District Council ( NPDC) as a portfolio and program manager, responsible for establishing their portfolio, program and project management (P3M) capabilities and coordinating the delivery of their capital work program.
Outside of work, Delerue enjoys yoga, surfing, tramping, snowboarding, mountaineering and rock-climbing. He also loves to share French cuisine with his family.
