San Antonio, Texas, May 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)-New Apprenticeship (NEW), uses the power of ServiceNow, a strategic IT management platform, to develop, execute, and scale their programs and operations of business to better provide skilled, diverse tech talent to employers in the US. In collaboration with Exterprise and several dedicated IT ServiceNow (ITSN) Apprentices of BAG, BAG was able to quickly expedite the implementation timeline.
The cost of the platform will continue to unfold over the next 6-12 months and NEW’s Grants Team has been enabled to use 70% of their time for fieldwork rather than analyzing and inputting data. BAG began the first half of the implementation phase with Exterprise, a ServiceNow consulting firm, before handing over the reins to Allen Linatoc, BAG’s ServiceNow Architect. Knowing the platform needed to adapt to the needs of the apprentice and employer partner, NEW took the time to design a scalable data model that would evolve with the company.
Delante Lee Bess, VP of Digital Transformation of NEW, led NEW’s technology team and working parties to a successful launch of ServiceNow. Bess also mentored BAG’s own IT ServiceNow Apprentice to gain hands-on experience assisting with implementation. These apprentices go through more advanced training that will put them in a deeper level of understanding of the ServiceNow architecture.
“By understanding the value that ServiceNow’s growing talent can bring to companies, we want to use the amazing features that ServiceNow can do for our own digital transformational experience,” Bess said. “Apprentices who help implement this change in projects deliver a better experience for all students, creating a dynamic feedback loop. This will also allow students to be exposed. into the intricacies of CSM applications and understand the differences of ITSM (IT Service Management). ”
Sheheryar Saeed is one of the ITSN Apprentices working on Bess’s team. He continues to contribute and gain technical skills by creating new innovative scope applications in ServiceNow through the NEW learning experience model.
“We are working on integrating an Agile sprint management system into ServiceNow. In addition to learning more of the technical skills required for the project, we are also gaining real world experience in Agile methodology. One my favorite part of the program is that the team encourages us to look for answers on our own. This is useful because it allows me to expand my comfort zone. The NEW team is also very helpful when we need help “It’s a great program and I’m learning a lot!” – Sheheryar, NEW ITSN Apprentice.
NEW project the cost of productivity freeing up at least 20-25% of manual time using automation, reports, real-time dashboards, and having a shared centralized infrastructure between all business units . As an organization, NEW is ready for rapid scaling while maintaining the agility needed for developing a robust solution that meets all aspects of the company.
