International B2B travel management platform, CWT has introduced a subscription fee model, which aims to offer its customers simple and transparent pricing and billing.
Companies can receive a monthly invoice covering bills for all the products and services they procure around the world, potentially saving customers time while also simplifying their travel expense budgeting.
The subscription fee is based on several criteria, including the company’s predicted transaction volume and any value-added products and services they may need. The model aims to offer flexibility, as the fee can change if the customer needs to change the scope of the products and services included in their subscription.
Brady Jensen (pictured), vice president of finance and head of global pricing commented: “As part of our ongoing commitment to simplify business travel for everyone, this new fee structure will not just streamline of our customers ’pricing and billing processes, but give them built-in volume discounts that are not inherent in the transaction fee model.”
CWT has introduced subscription fee billing to a select group of clients over the past year. New clients indicated that the model eliminated unexpected or hidden fees.
Heather Allegrina, global travel manager at ServiceNow, one of the companies participating in the CWT subscription program, said: “It greatly reduces administrative hassle. As a high-growth, global company, it gives us the flexibility and reliability to predict and measure our travel investment quickly and easily to support our scaling strategy. “
