We have exciting opportunities available in Human Resources for an HR Transactions Administration Assistant to provide high quality HR administrative support for all University staff and casual workers. This role is offered on a part time 0.5 FTE, permanent basis.
This role is a great opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in HR and often there are growth opportunities for those who want to thrive within HR.
You will provide high quality, timely and customer-focused administrative support, this role is essential for the team to deliver efficient and effective service to the University.
You will make effective and accurate use of the HR/Payroll system (Resourcelink), the visitor database (IDM) and the University ticket system (ServiceNow), to input and revise data and make contractual etc. further documentation within specified quality standards and service level agreements. Activities include; setting up casual workers at the University, setting up visitors at the University, making job references and more.

About you:
You will naturally be organized, enjoy working as part of a busy and diverse team, have great attention to detail and be able to work under pressure. While experience in the previous administration was an advantage, we are looking for motivated individuals who are enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and systems.
You will develop excellent communication and organizational skills, strive to provide excellent customer service, and experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Our HR department works throughout the Highfield Campus and One Guildhall Square, but your primary work location is One Guildhall Square. Both offices have easy access to public transport, restaurants, a coffee shop and a University gym.
