Sling & Stone has opened an office in Melbourne, appointing three new team members to kick off its Victorian operations, along with a number of new appointments in Brisbane and Adelaide.
Lucie Behan and Sarah Gordan will both join the business team’s Melbourne office as account directors, with Courtney Phelps, taking on the role of senior account executive.
Behan joins the agency from WE Communications where she worked across sectors including enterprise and consumer technology, healthcare, travel and retail. At Sling & Stone he will lead campaigns for Xero, eStore Logistics, Sendle and Getty Images.
Having recently held roles at Alt/Shift and Weber Shandwick, Gordan has experience working with enterprise technology and startup brands including CrowdStrike, ServiceNow, Splunk, Honeywell, Qualcomm and Dropbox. In his new role, Gordan will lead the enterprise’s information security and technology campaigns.

Previously at Keep Left, Phelps has extensive experience working with consumer, corporate and fintech clients and at Sling & Stone will handle Melbourne based Stone & Chalk, agtech innovator AgriWebb and global work OS monday.com.
In Adelaide, Sling & Stone welcomes Melissa van der Haak and supports the transition of Fran Chitoriski, who leads the global people team. Additionally in Brisbane, Sanjay Dove joins with another transfer from Sydney; senior account manager, Chloe Maguire.
Van der Haak joins as senior account director in the consumer team, returning to Australia from Avanti West Coast in the UK where she led a 14 strong in-house PR and Social team, Melissa leads campaigns for to Sling & Stone clients including v2food, ubank and Guzman y Gomez.
Sanjay Dove joins as account director, joining from specialist UK tech disrupter agency, Wildfire. Dove will lead campaigns across Asia Pacific for HiBob, Dataiku, Snyk and Block Earner.
