Accenture Federal Services (AFS) has won a five-year contract to deploy the ServiceNow platform to the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (Inscom).
AFS will use the popular cloud computing platform to help Inscom automate its IT workflows and connect its employees, functions and systems. Inscom consists of more than 10,000 people and conducts intelligence, security, and information operations for US Army commanders, intelligence community partners, and national decision makers.
“As a former US Army senior intelligence officer, I understand that digital transformation plays a critical role in supporting the Army’s complex, multi-disciplinary operations around the world,” said Mary Legere, AFS managing director and lead strategy and engagement, national security portfolio. “Accenture Federal Services has deep expertise in ServiceNow integrations and we look forward to supporting INSCOM in this deployment.”
An Arlington, VA-based subsidiary of Accenture, AFS works with clients across defense, national security, civil services, and federal health. The company’s capabilities include digital government innovation, federal IT modernization, emerging technologies, and digital solution design.
“Accenture Federal Services is excited to support INSCOM’s continued drive to digital,” said Erik Raynes, AFS managing director and services intel client account lead, national security portfolio. “This award reflects our leading capabilities and trusted partnership with ServiceNow.”
Other recent AFS contract awards include a 10-year, $199-million contract from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to provide a wide range of IT services in support of the agency’s Secure Flight System, as well as a $175-million multi-award IDIQ contract to conduct crowdsourcing and other crowd-based solution delivery initiatives for NASA.
