Boomi appointed former Deloitte CIO, Larry Quinlan, as an independent, non-executive member of its board of directors.
As the former global chief information officer for Deloitte, Quinlan was responsible for the professional services company’s $45bn technology strategy and operations, overseeing more than 10,000 IT professionals in 175 countries. He brings more than 35 years of experience advising Fortune 500 boards and CEOS and currently sits on multiple boards including ServiceNow, Jones Lang LaSalle, and UBS Americas Holding LLC where he chairs the board’s Technology and Cyber Forum.
Quinlan’s appointment follows Boomi’s recent independence backed by Francisco Partners and TPG, in a transaction that valued the SaaS vendor at $4bn.
David Meredith, CEO at Boomi said: “We are delighted to have Larry as part of our board and strategic counsel, where he will bring proven expertise to help us navigate our next phase as a company. The recent launch of Boomi as a standalone organization – combined with our category-leading technology and rapid customer growth – gives us the opportunity to continue to build an unparalleled leadership team.
Speaking about his appointment, Quinlan said: “All businesses must transform for today’s world, and smart connectivity and automation are essential for success in that task. Boomi’s continued leadership, along with the award -winning platform and culture, make this company a force to be reckoned with. I am honored to serve on the Boomi team at this exciting time.”
