The Deadline for the Digital Revolution Awards has been extended

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The 2023 Digital Revolution Awards has announced a one-month extension to its popular awards celebrating the best achievements in cloud technology, giving those working in the cloud technology community one last chance to participate.

After a late surge of nominations, the awards, which will see in-person ceremonies and fundraisers held in Las Vegas, London and Frankfurt alongside its online screening, will now accept nominations until Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

“Some of the nominations we’ve received so far are really amazing,” said Kashif Naqshbandi, Chief Marketing Officer of Tenth Revolution Group, the company behind the event. “However, this is a busy time of year for many organizations whose priority is, quite rightly, delivering outstanding, innovative digital projects on time.”

“Although it only takes a few minutes to submit a nomination, after much thought we have decided to give people one more month to participate, to allow those who achieve exceptional results to continue to focus on that, without it being at the expense. of getting the recognition they deserve. However, this will be the last chance for people to celebrate their amazing work.”

The 2023 awards saw a raft of new categories as well as the opening of those from new tech communities including Google Cloud Platform, and ServiceNow. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to celebrate people who go above and beyond to make the industry a better place to live and work, with categories recognizing Exceptional Cloud Employer of the Year, Excellence in Learning and Development, and Outstanding Contribution to the Cloud Community, among others.

As well as planting a tree for every nomination they receive, the non-profit’s personal initiative events also help raise money for good causes around the world. Its two charity partners are St. Martin’s school, which serves underprivileged children in Kibagare, Kenya, and Climb Hire, an organization that helps provide job opportunities to those from low-income backgrounds in the US.

“The focus of these awards is on celebrating the good that can be achieved through technology,” Naqshbandi added. “So, it is important that we also use them to do good for ourselves. That is why we have gone above and beyond to create an event that truly gives back to the world we live in.”

Nominations for the awards now close on November 30, 2022. A full list of award categories, including information on how to make a nomination, is available on the Digital Revolution Awards website.
