ServiceNow now provides extensions for Microsoft Visual Studio Code

ServiceNow

ServiceNow now provides extensions to Microsoft Visual Studio Code. This allows developers on the ServiceNow Now platform to innovate in the lightweight, extensible Visual Studio code editor.

To keep up with the rapid pace of innovation, ServiceNow says that developers need to be equipped with the right tools, which should provide a frictionless experience and simplify work. With this new integration, ServiceNow developers can work offline in their favorite text editor.

The ServiceNow extension of Microsoft Visual Studio Code provides the following features:

Support the development of multiple ServiceNow projects, such as packages, custom applications, saved applications and plug-ins, as well as offline development and synchronization, so that developers can work anywhere, any time.

Enable advanced script editor features, such as IntelliSense and lint support, as well as JavaScript and HTML syntax verification, Glide API code completion, Jelly tags and attributes.

Support basic authentication and OAuth authentication, and provide two-way file synchronization between Visual Studio code and the instance, and a unified difference tool for viewing differences.
