Facebook’s Workplace and ServiceNow on Wednesday expanded their existing relationship by integrating the cloud computing company’s Virtual Agent with social networking enterprise products.
Virtual agents will enable Workplace employees to request support from the Facebook client, receive updates on ongoing requests, and establish contact with real-time agents, all without leaving the platform.
Workplace companies from Facebook can use ServiceNow Employee Campaigns to distribute relevant content directly to employees through the platform.
Spoke is available as IntegrationHub, which enables Workplace customers from Facebook to create their own integrations to meet the needs of their employee experience.
Facebook’s Vice President Julien Codorniou’s Workplace said in a statement: “ServiceNow is a strong brand and we are honored to deepen our partnership with us. Together, we are in a unique position to bring first-class technology to the organization. Every employee in, no matter where or how they work. As multinational companies embark on the new normal and become increasingly decentralized, bridging the communication gap and not just the digital tools at the headquarters will be critical to their success. Desktop or frontline employees, who account for 80% of the global workforce, are especially important. I am very happy that our joint efforts will provide more seamless services to this vital group of employees and enable Workplace to enter the field of automation and productivity-we think This will be a game changer for all our customers.”
Gretchen Alarcon, general manager of ServiceNow vp and HR service delivery, added: “The workplace of the future will be distributed, which means that organizations must create new workflows to keep employees informed, engaged and connected. We are very much I am happy to work with Facebook’s Workplace to help our mutual customers break silos, increase productivity and ultimately provide a great employee experience.”
