ServiceNow is launching integration with Citrix ITSM’s new virtual agent, which is designed to automatically resolve virtual application and desktop reset issues.
With the expansion of virtual infrastructure in mixed work environments, companies are seeking to quickly solve IT problems through automation. Chatbots are helpful, but IT teams usually handle events manually through virtual applications and desktop sessions.
According to ServiceNow, reset is the top five of all types of requests and events.
ServiceNow and Citrix are integrating ServiceNow ITSM with the Citrix ITSM connector application. This integration will enable IT to automatically perform reset operations in the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service. ServiceNow’s integration center connects the two platforms.
The goal is to resolve reset events in minutes instead of hours through AI self-service across multiple workers and applications.
