ServiceNow acquires Mapwize: This is the reason

Mapwize was founded in 2014 by CEO Médéric Morel and CTO Mathieu Gerard and is headquartered in Lille, France.

Mapwize’s software is an indoor map platform. The software allows customers to develop interactive indoor maps of commercial floor plans. ServiceNow will incorporate this technology into its Now platform and workplace service delivery suite. The buyer pointed out that the ServiceNow suite already has the functions of space mapping, workplace reservation management, workplace space management, workplace visitor management, case and knowledge management, and safe workplace suites.

The result: ServiceNow and Mapwize users can use the software in their enterprises to reserve seats, meeting rooms, workspaces, and workplace resources. Buyers stated that the Mapwize feature will also help workplace teams manage and update floor maps based on usage trends and changing real estate needs.
