ServiceNow announced an integration that supports requesting, approving, and receiving Windows 365 cloud PCs through Microsoft Teams.
According to a blog post by Matt Schvimmer, vice president and general manager of the ServiceNow ITSM business unit, announcing the integration, the solution was co-developed with Microsoft.
The employee requested the cloud PC via Teams to initiate a workflow, which was sent to ServiceNow ITSM to collect the necessary approvals.
ITSM then uses Microsoft Azure Active Directory to add the requested user to the appropriate security grid, which automatically assigns the user a Windows 365 license.
When the cloud PC is ready, ITSM will notify users in Microsoft Teams and provide access.

The integration is expected to be available to existing ITSM customers as a free application in the ServiceNow store in the next quarter.
ServiceNow also announced an update to its workplace service delivery solution, adding mobile capabilities to employees and improving data and insights to inform real estate costs and optimization.
New features include one-click booking in the mobile app and providing smart suggestions; data on the number of employees entering the workplace on a specific day, month or year; and improved mapping and wayfinding.
