With native mobile maps and navigation capabilities, the acquisition enables employees to safely navigate the workplace in the new hybrid work world
Frankfurt, August 11, 2021 -ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), a leading provider of digital workflow solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Mapwize, an indoor map and navigation provider located in Lille, France. With Mapwize, ServicNow will provide employees with indoor map features that they can use to book and navigate workstations, meeting rooms, workspaces, and resources from their desktop or mobile devices. In addition, Mapwize’s functions enable employees to manage and update room plans based on usage trends and future space requirements.

In order to promote a flexible and agile workplace, ServiceNow intends to integrate Mapwize’s capabilities natively into the Now platform and workplace service delivery suite.
Mapwize’s mapping solutions, product features, and technical capabilities will complement and optimize existing functions in the ServiceNow workplace service delivery suite. This includes workplace reservation management, workplace space management, workplace visitor management, case and knowledge management, and safe workplace suites.

Mapwize was founded in 2014 by CEO Médéric Morel and CTO Mathieu Gerard and is headquartered in Lille, France. ServiceNow expects that the acquisition of Mapwize will be completed in the third quarter of 2021. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
