ServiceNow, a digital workflow company, announced on August 11 that it had agreed to acquire Mapwize, a French indoor map company. With the development of ServiceNow, ServiceNow is making acquisitions one by one.
Through the acquisition of Mapwize, the company will provide employees with indoor maps when preparing office space in a mixed work environment. Mapwize can also be used to manage and update floor maps when a company changes its office layout. The Mapwize function will be incorporated into Now Platform and Workplace Service Delivery Suite.
ServiceNow also announced the acquisition of database acceleration company Swarm64 last week.
Mapwize’s indoor mapping software is used in multiple industries such as education, healthcare, retail, transportation, events, and hotels. The company also provides map content management, indoor positioning systems, developer tools, and indoor visualization for Tableau Software and Microsoft.
According to Mapwize’s website, customers can enter building details and default language. Then, in addition to API access, you can also use the dashboard to manage and edit the location. You can add or import floor maps through the drag-and-drop interface, as well as POIs (points of interest), instructions and guides on how to use them.
