IT giant Infosys announced an alliance with digital workflow company ServiceNow on Tuesday to provide enterprise-level service management for manufacturing customers.
Infosys stated in a regulatory document that through this cooperation, it will use its industry cloud blueprint (part of Infosys Cobalt) and deploy ServiceNow Operational Technology Management (OTM) to support the manufacturing industry to realize factory, workshop and factory operations Digitization.
Through this cooperation, the IT professional will use its Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Café and ServiceNow OTM to improve the flexibility and availability of key OT systems throughout the manufacturing sector.
Infosys stated in the document: “This cooperation will also be extended to meet the OTM, factory and operational digital needs of customers in the CPG, energy and retail industries.”

Earlier last week, Infosys and Microsoft reached a multi-year strategic cooperation with Ausgrid, Australia’s largest electricity distributor on the east coast, to strengthen its cloud transformation.
Infosys shares closed up 1.77% on BSE on Tuesday to 1,717.70 rupees.
