Accenture is buying IT consultancy Solvera Solutions

Accenture has acquired Solvera, a technology consultancy based in Regina.

Founded in 2005, Solvera provides services in digital strategy, project management, enterprise architecture, application development, and application managed services. The firm is a ServiceNow Elite Partner, a Microsoft Gold Partner in application development, application integration, DevOps, and data analytics, and a SAP Silver Partner.

Solvera’s 450+ professionals work with Western Canadian clients in the public sector, health, financial services, utilities and energy, and agriculture industries. The company has offices in Regina, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and Victoria.

Accenture’s acquisition of Solvera strengthens its capabilities with ServiceNow, Microsoft Modern Workplace and Microsoft Power Platform, and SAP S/4HANA.

The deal is Accenture Canada’s sixth acquisition since 2020. The management and technology consulting firm last month bought XtremeEDA, an Ottawa-based silicon design services company. Accenture last year acquired Gevity, a healthcare sector consulting firm, and Cloudworks, an Oracle Cloud implementation specialist. In 2020, it acquired Avenai, a consulting firm focusing on federal clients, and Callisto Integration, a digital manufacturing specialist.
