Accenture’s subsidiary has a contract to support US INSCOM’s digital drive

Accenture subsidiary Accenture Federal Services (AFS) has secured a contract from the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) for the deployment of ServiceNow.

As part of the five-year contract, the ServiceNow platform will be used to update INSCOM’s Enterprise Service Management (ESM) capabilities.

ServiceNow, a cloud-based platform, enables businesses to automate their IT workflows by keeping people, functions and systems connected.

AFS managing director and National Security Portfolio Services Intel Client Account lead Erik Raynes said: “Accenture Federal Services is excited to support INSCOM’s continued drive to digital.

“This award reflects our leading capabilities and trusted partnership with ServiceNow. We look forward to playing an important role in improving the quality and speed of support INSCOM provides to its workforce and supported commands around the world.”

The platform will integrate INSCOM’s service management functions in security domains and improve customer support and other capabilities.

The deployment will support the INSCOM Digital Transformation Support Services (IDTS2) contract, awarded in partnership with Carahsoft under the blanket purchase agreement of the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI).

AFS managing director and National Security Portfolio Strategy and Engagement lead Mary Legere said: “As a former US Army senior intelligence officer, I understand that digital transformation plays a critical mission in supporting complex, multi-disciplinary which Army operations around the world.

“Accenture Federal Services has deep expertise in ServiceNow integrations, and we look forward to supporting INSCOM in this deployment.”

Headquartered in Virginia, AFS serves the needs of clients in defense, national security, public safety, civilian and military health organizations.
