A Leader in the Field for Over 20 Years, Petri will Lead Multi-Asset Brand Partnerships across AEG’s Global Portfolio
LOS ANGELES-(BUSINESS WIRE)-AEG Global Partnerships, a division of AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, is expanding its team with the appointment of veteran industry executive Ingrid Petri to join Global Partnerships as Vice President, AEG Global Portfolio Sales. Acting as the internal agency for AEG, Global Partnerships oversees global sales and sponsorship activation for over 130 world-class platforms on five continents and many other assets, including venues, sports franchises, events, tours, festivals and digital content along with other AEG holdings. Petri will work at AEG’s New York office and report on both to Nick Baker, Chief Operating Officer, AEG Global Partnerships as well as Andrew Klein, Managing Director, AEG Global Partnerships.

Petri will serve as a key member of Global Partnerships ’sales team responsible for driving innovative business solutions for new partners and growing strategic relationships with investment firms across the scope of AEG’s portfolio. He will focus on building multi-property deals with major brands covering all aspects of AEG’s sports and live entertainment business including world-class venues such as Crypto.com Arena, LA LIVE, and The O2 arena to name a few, top music festivals. such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival, celebrated sporting franchises such as LA Kings and LA Galaxy, as well as an impressive network of live music venues.

Petri brings with him more than two decades of sales, brand development, and marketing experience having held senior leadership roles in major sports leagues, teams, and media companies. Prior to joining AEG, he spent eight years with the National Basketball Association (NBA) as Associate Vice President of Business Development and Global Partnerships. While there, she oversaw business development and developed brand partnerships for the NBA and its portfolio of leagues including the Women’s National Basketball Association, the NBA 2K League, G League and USA Basketball. His experience and intelligence has added significant value to the NBA and resulted in the closing of notable first-of-their kind deals with Coinbase, Clorox, Mondelez, and ServiceNow, among many others.
Petri also manages business development and partnerships for the National Football League (NFL) and has extensive experience across the media landscape. Having previously worked for NBC News Networks, Sports Illustrated Property Sales and as Head of Sports Advertising Sales at DirecTV, he has a track-record of success getting big deals in multiple categories with top blue-chip brands.

Petri remains actively involved with her alma mater serving on the Mentor Advisory Board for the university’s business school as well as on the board of the Villanova Moorad Sports Law Center.
