Are You Looking For The Top 100 Places To Find The Best Jobs In 2022, Here Are Some For You! / World of Digital Information

Getting a job these days in a nice place is hard but Glassdoor’s annual 100 Best Places to Work survey makes the whole process easier.

With increasing awareness about workplace rights and inflation, one is always looking for a better job. At a time like this, the Glassdoor survey seems like a lifesaver. The survey is one of the best and even covers all the less relevant information like the best employees to make this decision easier.

Glassdoor has real resources for their survey. They only post the best results after reviewing the feedback they receive on their site. This includes feedback from past and current employees of various companies. There is a limit, however. Because site ratings are limited, you’re likely to see similar results across the site. What we don’t understand is what about sites with the same scores? How does ranking happen? When pinned, Glassdoor commented that they use a proprietary ranking algorithm to fix this issue.

Now, what exactly is this proprietary ranking algorithm? To sum up, this is a system that not only uses numbers but various elements to rank companies. These include satisfaction scores, CEO leadership, compensation, and similar standards. The companies with the highest scores manage to be featured.

We weren’t surprised to learn that among the top 100 companies, 40% of the list is occupied by tech companies including big names like Apple, Microsoft, Meta, and Google. This does not mean there is no coverage for newer companies. 36% of the space is occupied by newcomers including Rivian and ServiceNow. The highest rank this time was taken by Nvidia, which has been on the list for the past eight years.

What was the surprise was that Meta significantly dropped its position of 36 places while Zoom dropped by a larger margin? Zoom was able to get the 22nd position last year, however this year it didn’t even get the 99th and landed late.

Finally, Glassdoor has not forgotten small and medium business owners and has even created the 50 best places to work for SMBs. Their defining criteria are areas with less than 1000 employees where companies like KlientBoost and Grammarly are placed in the top section.
