Arkhia partners with Google Cloud to accelerate the growth of distributed ledger applications on Hedera

SINGAPORE, September 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Arkhia is an enterprise-grade Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider that empowers developers of blockchain and distributed-ledger technology (DLT). Arkhia provides access points for building at scale on DLTs, offering developers a set of modular services distributed across multiple clouds, regions, and redundant systems. First offering access points for Hedera network, Arkhia will enable application developers to build both backend and client-side applications to leverage and grow the evolving Hedera ecosystem.

Arkhia is built for speed of both development and deployment. With multi-region Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) deployments, Arkhia is equipped to expand the growing fabric of Hedera services, ensuring that applications running core business services will have access to update as soon as they are pushed up to previewnet, testnet, or Hedera. mainnet. Arkhia will provide scaled endpoints for these three Hedera networks.

By embracing Hedera’s next-generation DLT features, Arkhia will enrich its offerings by leveraging Google Cloud’s high-availability load balancing, code vault, and built-in scale capabilities. Arkhia’s service layer is built on Google Cloud services using Apigee, Cloud Storageand BigQueryenabling fast sign-in, fully integrated, and secure application-level authentication and project-encapsulated metrics so developers have maximum information and control over their Hedera infrastructure.

Google Cloud is a member of the Hedera Governing Council, a diverse group of world-leading organizations responsible for managing the Hedera network. Google Cloud is a preferred cloud provider for Hedera public testnets and the Hedera Consensus Service ecosystem. Google Cloud also runs a Hedera network node, and makes the ledger data available for analytics with Google Cloud and other public DLT datasets.

As a member of the Hedera Governing Council, Google Cloud’s current support of both the validation and mirror node layers allows Arkhia to use Google Cloud’s own cloud bucket, which contains a copy of the DLT state to access updates and transactions on the Hedera network when they occur. In addition to this, Arkhia will also deploy its own Google Cloud buckets of Hedera state while leveraging existing Google Cloud infrastructure, which already powers the Hedera Consensus Service ecosystem and Hedera public testnets, to provide tests on quality to ensure accuracy. This will help Arkhia ensure the speed and consistency that Hedera developers expect.

“We look forward to providing Arkhia with a secure and sustainable cloud infrastructure and the data and analytics tools to help developers build resilient DLT applications. Building on our current work with Hedera Hashgraph, our collaboration with Arkhia is will help grow the Hedera ecosystem with security and innovation at its core.”Carlos ArenaDirector, Digital Assets, Google Cloud.

While Hedera is already an enterprise-ready DLT network with a solid core of services (tokens, files, consensus, smart contracts, and cryptocurrency), Arkhia is built with flexibility in mind that allows for any Hedera stack expansion, such as JSON- RPC Smart Contract relays, to extend Arkhia core features as well. Google Cloud’s continued support of DLT technologies and extensive offerings will help make Arkhia a premier IAAS provider for both enterprises and startups looking to build their companies for the future of finance.

“We are excited to become a preferred Google Cloud partner as the partnership truly compliments each other’s services. Building on Google Cloud’s robust global network, Arkhia has created an enterprise-grade, world -class infrastructure that serves developers on the most sustainable decentralized network, Hedera Hashgraph.” – Ethan LeeHead of Business at Arkhia
