Bellevue, Washington–(Business Information)–BitTitan® is a global leader in the field of migration and custodial service automation, with a series of solutions including MigrationWiz®, Voleer® and Perspectium®, today announced that Joseph Nguyen has become the company’s first director of information security. In this position, Nguyen will oversee the security operations of all BitTitan products and departments. He will take the lead in implementing additional security governance plans to monitor and enforce company-wide security policies and procedures. As the company continues to grow, this will further reduce the risks of BitTitan and each of its customers.

Joseph will be in charge of BitTitan’s well-managed security plan, which outlines highly structured security controls and guides the company’s product development work, quality assurance, and deployment. He will also lead the company’s safety and compliance awareness training program.
Most recently, Nguyen served as Perspectium’s DevOps Director, responsible for overseeing the San Diego company’s security and compliance certifications, and he will continue to work there. BitTitan acquired Perspectium in April 2021.
Prior to joining Perspectium, Nguyen was the Director of Software Engineering at NBC Universal in Los Angeles. His responsibilities included managing the cyber security and compliance of domestic and international film programs.

Nguyen holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in physics from Princeton University.
