Computer Design and Integration (CDI), an IT solutions provider backed by private equity firm One Equity Partners, has acquired Service Now security operations and integrated risk management (IRM) company SecOps Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This is technology M&A deal number 649 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2021.
SecOps Partner and CDI: Security Professional Background
SecOps Partners, founded in 2017, provides vulnerability management, risk management, security consulting and incident response support.
In addition, SecOps Partners provides security consulting services, including:
- Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
- security operations management
- Service Now Integration
CDI, meanwhile, provides hybrid cloud infrastructure, digital workflow, intelligent operations, digital workspaces and security solutions to help organizations drive digital transformation.
CDI is growing organically and through acquisitions. Major moves in 2021 include buying:
- Candoris, a Dell Technologies and Salesforce partner.
- A systems integrator with Kintyre Solutions, cloud-native DevOps and DevSecOps services.
- An IT solutions provider integrator of high availability, data center, networking, security, mobility, collaboration and cloud strategy products and services
On the executive front, CDI promoted President Rich Falcone to CEO in July 2021. Falcone replaces CDI co-founder Eric Bakker, who has taken a position on the company’s board of directors.
SecOps Partners is based in Rochester, New York. CDI is located in New York, New York.
