ClearShark acquired FedBizIT
ClearShark is based in Hanover, Maryland and is an IT solutions provider focusing on cybersecurity, data center and cloud infrastructure, AI and data analytics and DevSecOps, the company said. ClearShark employs engineering talent and subject matter experts from the intelligence community, Department of Defense and Department of Energy, according to the company’s website.
FedBiz IT Solutions is a privately held SBA certified HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned and Veteran-Owned Small Business that serves IT and emerging technology solutions to federal government clients, according to the company. FedBiz IT was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia.
The acquisition of FedBiz IT will add to the acquisition of contracts, management of contracts and compliance to the ClearShark portfolio. In addition, FedBiz IT’s current portfolio of contracts includes several widely used contracts including NASA SEWP V, Army ITES-SW2, Army ADMC-3 and SEC Blanket Order Agreement, among others, according to FedBizIT . FedBiz IT will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of ClearShark, the companies said.
