Hybrid cloud management startup CloudBolt Software Inc. today announced its Summer ’21 release, which extends the company’s codeless integration of DevOps tools for enterprise teams and hybrid cloud governance.

Expanded tools include comprehensive Google Cloud Platform support, multi-cloud budget and cost trend insights, and greater automation flexibility. The new version also brings new features to its OneFuse codeless integration platform to support more information technology automation tools suitable for VMware, ServiceNow, Ansible, etc., to help enterprise customers reduce friction.

CloudBolt Chief Technology Officer Rick Kilcoyne said: “Our new summer version is in line with our mission to meet with customers, partners and potential customers on the hybrid and multi-cloud journey. “The market needs tool options and platform diversity. The era of single hypervisor and public cloud is gone. “

CloudBolt’s new cost management features include updates to its software-as-a-service solutions Cloud Management Platform 9.4.6 and OneFuse 1.4. Through cost control and cost automation, CloudBolt can continuously notify FinOps of real-time cost savings opportunities, while providing public cloud optimization on all major hyperscale platforms.

Budgeting features include the ability to create monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and understand historical cost trends to avoid unexpected cloud bills. This also adds real-time alerts when spending thresholds are reached. Kilcoyne said: “The Summer ’21 version of CloudBolt expands the diversity of the cloud by providing deep self-service and cost optimization for GCP, as well as our richness with dozens of other hypervisors and super extensions.”

CloudBolt 9.4.6 now provides full visibility to enterprise GCP servers-providing information about central processing units, memory, and more. It includes tagging CGP resources by group, user, etc. to better monitor and improve the blueprint to provide faster self-service configuration through Google Storage Cloud.

The new version also provides a new application programming interface framework designed to provide greater automation flexibility. With this framework, ITOps and DevOps teams can use tools they are already familiar with, such as ServiceNow, Terraform, etc., to call API calls to CloudBolt for configuration and management.

With OneFuse 1.4, the service expands support for codeless integration and supports more modules through two new modules, including two popular IT services: Microsoft IPAM and F5 BIG-IP. This version will also provide new platform support for Ansible, ServiceNow, VMware vRA Cloud and CloudBolt CMP.

The new concept in this version is the concept of “pluggable modules”, which will make it easier to integrate, create and update existing modules without the need to completely upgrade the entire OneFuse device.

Summer ’21 updates for all products are now generally available to all customers.
