CWT, the business-to-business-for-employees (B2B4E) travel management platform, has introduced a new subscription fee model to offer its customers simple and clear pricing and billing. Companies can now receive a single, recurring monthly invoice* that covers fees for all the products and services they purchase worldwide from CWT, which saves them time, while also simplifying their travel expense budgeting.

The subscription fee is based on several criteria, including the company’s predicted transaction volume and any value-added products and services they may need. The model also offers flexibility, as the fee can change if a customer needs to change the scope of the products and services included in their subscription.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to simplify business travel for everyone, this new fee structure will not only streamline our customers’ pricing and billing processes, but provide them with built- in quantitative discounts that are not inherent in the transaction fee model, ”said Brady Jensen, CWT’s VP of Finance and Head of Global Pricing. “Unlike the Transaction Fee Models, this new billing model only issues a simple, comprehensive monthly invoice versus many, making it easier to track and manage travel spending and business forecasts for corporate travel managers. “

CWT has introduced subscription fee billing to a select group of clients over the past year. The feedback has been very positive, providing clarity on their spending on TMC as well as a significant reduction in the amount of time their finance teams spend reconciling TMC invoices. New clients stated that the model eliminated their biggest bugbear in charging unexpected or hidden fees, which they had previously experienced before they joined CWT.
