Deloitte Top 200 Awards Finalists Announced

Auckland, 28 January – The finalists in the Deloitte Top 200 Awards for 2021 showcase the best in New Zealand business and their commercial strength and agility in a year that has once again seen a lot of disruption and uncertainty due to COVID-19.

“Many of our finalists have seen success by investing in technology, improving their people and putting their organization’s purpose and value into everything they do.

“They also continue to balance the need to stay focused on long-term strategies against the need to stay agile and adapt to the changing environment and emerging challenges exacerbated by the pandemic,” said Deloitte Chief Executive Mike Horne.

Fran O’Sullivan, New Zealand Media and Entertainment’s Head of Business Content, returns as judge convenor for the 32nd year of the awards.

“The finalists in the Deloitte Top 200 awards have demonstrated perseverance and real resilience in a compelling drive to succeed in the turbulent environment created by COVID-19,” O’Sullivan said.

“The strong business performance from all the finalists is a result not only of leadership from above, but also a commitment from the staff of the businesses to succeed.”

This year’s jurors also include Jonathan Mason, Neil Paviour-Smith, Cathy Quinn, Ross George, Hinerangi Raumati-Tu’ua, Joan Withers, Rob Campbell, Liam Dann, Royal Reed,

Simon Moutter and Ranjna Patel.

“The judging for Deloitte’s awards reflects business excellence in implementing plans in the middle of the second year of COVID-19 with new variants, longer lockdowns and tougher ongoing challenges than previously thought. last year, ”said Top 200 judge Jonathan Mason.
