EY acquired Irish technology consultancy Client Solutions

Big Four firm EY has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire Ireland -based enterprise technology firm Client Solutions. The deals see EY welcoming around 180 professionals to its ranks.

Founded in 1994, the Client Solutions company works with large private and public sector organizations, helping them modify, refresh or expand their technology capabilities to harness the value of digital and become more agile, lean, responsive. and competitive.

According to Frank O’Keeffe, EY’s Managing Partner in Ireland, the acquisition of Client Solutions will help EY better serve its clients in the rapidly growing technology and digital transformation space.

Client Solutions is a certified partner of software vendors such as SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Coreview and Neptune. The company has also earned numerous partner awards in recent years.

According to the Irish Times, the latest accounts for Client Solutions show that it earned € 3.5 million in the year to the end of June 2020, and € 4.6 million last year.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, with the deal subject to closing conditions including merger clearance by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
