“The Fastpath License Review Tool is a powerful reporting solution to help customers answer not only what user licenses they have, but why they need those licenses.”

Fastpath Solutions, the leading provider of security and compliance solutions for Microsoft Dynamics, is pleased to announce a new tool for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) cloud-based ERP system.

The Fastpath License Review Tool is a comprehensive license reporting solution that provides organizations with valuable insight into the specific license types used by existing users, roles, roles, privileges, and security objects. Such information is invaluable when managing Microsoft license subscription costs, before and after subscription renewals.

Fully understanding the various drivers behind D365FO licensing has long been a challenge for organizations. Each provisioned security change can affect an organization’s Dynamics licensing subscription. This can lead to over-provisioned users, unintended risk and additional licensing costs.

Fastpath developed the License Analysis Tool to provide in-depth visibility and clarity into the license types associated with a company’s provisioned roles, roles and privileges. With this new solution, companies can better manage their Dynamics subscription, identify cost savings, and proactively correct oversubscribed licenses.

“The Fastpath License Review Tool is a powerful reporting solution to help customers answer not only what user licenses they have, but why they need those licenses,” said Alex Meyer, Microsoft MVP and Director of Customer Success at Fastpath. “This information is not available natively and we have seen many Fastpath customers use these reports to save significant amounts of money on their licensing costs. I’m excited that we can now offer this as a standalone tool to support companies as they go through their license renewal journey.”

This is the latest chapter in a long history of innovative access control, security and compliance solutions in the Microsoft Dynamics space from Fastpath. Quick to implement and deploy, Fastpath’s full range of GRC solutions enable organizations to take a risk-based approach, driving less privileged access to their critical enterprise applications , automating security processes, reducing errors and providing a lower cost of ownership when it comes to management. security in these applications.

Existing users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations can learn more about the Fastpath Licensing Review Tool by contacting Fastpath directly or viewing the published offerings on AppSource and Azure Marketplace.
