IBM provides CIOs with automated real-time detection and response to IT events through Watson AIOps.
At the Think Digital 2020 virtual conference held on Tuesday, May 5, IBM introduced the AIOps* version of its Watson artificial intelligence (AI) program.
The tool-IBM Watson AIOps-is designed to automate the detection, diagnosis and real-time response of IT events at the IT infrastructure level.
The Department of Information Systems (DSI) is the target.

Big Blue’s solution is based on the latest version of the Red Hat OpenShift containerized application platform.
The tool should help CIOs predict future events and allocate more resources for high value-added tasks and the continuity of smart grid activities.
The IBM Watson AIOps solution is designed to run in a hybrid cloud environment. In order to support the project, Big Blue is working with partners and third-party solution providers. Slack, Box, Mattermost and ServiceNow are among them.

With Watson AIOps, IBM seeks to enhance data management and operations capabilities to support performance and reduce costs for business customers.
