Infinidat announced the integration of its InfiniBox array with ServiceNow’s ITOM Visibility platform, which will “provide greater storage visibility” and “enhance the provided AIOps (artificial intelligence for IT operations) capabilities.”
The new integration extends ServiceNow’s existing detection and visualization capabilities in the Infinidat system through the ServiceNow Discovery system, which automatically creates dependencies between the system and its components (including hosts and connected networks), thereby increasing the acceptance of decisions And allow companies to optimize their IT processes.
According to Infinidat, this will also allow customers of the system to use ServiceNow’s map service to visualize services driven by the InfiniBox platform. On the other hand, it will provide technical storage capacity for ServiceNow customers who are migrating or intending to migrate to the system, and automatic service mapping Functions to identify and evaluate the services supported by its storage system and improve the accuracy of the migration plan.
