In a major expansion bid, in order to tap the growing Indian manufacturing industry, the tech giant Infosys announced a partnership with the leading digital workflow company ServiceNow, which is committed to providing people with better jobs and providing enterprise-level services to manufacturing customers manage.

The technology giant plans to use its industrial cloud blueprint (part of Infosys Cobalt) and deploy ServiceNow Operational Technology Management (OTM) to support the manufacturing industry to digitize factory, workshop, and factory operations through this cooperation.

As part of the cooperation, Infosys will use its Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Cafe and ServiceNow OTM based on the Now platform to improve the flexibility and availability of key OT systems throughout the manufacturing sector.

This cooperation may also be extended to meet the OTM, factory and operational digital needs of customers in the CPG, energy and retail industries.

Earlier, Infosys and ServiceNow collaborated with Carrier Global Corporation, the world’s leading provider of health, safety, sustainable and smart building and cold chain solutions, to help them achieve their goal of spin-off from the parent company UTC.

Infosys Cobalt’s ESM cafe helped Carrier transform IT, HR service desk, and security operations within a given time frame. Carrier chose Infosys because of its expertise in using the Now platform to transform the legacy environment, execution speed, and ability to quickly track large-scale implementations outside of IT.
