BCN Group acquires Evo-soft

BCN Group has acquired Evo-soft, a UK-based Dynamics 365 Business Central specialist.

Evo-soft has developed their own custom software for auction houses, aptly named Evo-Auction. They also offer Evo-Supply, a solution for the import, distribution, and simple manufacturing industries.

This acquisition will bring BCN Group’s combined annual business revenue to more than £50M with further acquisitions expected, according to the companies. The acquisition follows an investment by private equity firm ECI Partners. Beech Tree Private Equity invested in BCN Group in 2018.

“The acquisition of Evo-soft enables BCN to provide greater value to our customers, enabling them to continue their digital transformation journeys, leveraging the full benefits of the Microsoft ecosystem,” said Rob Davies, CEO of BCN Group. “Existing capabilities around development, modern workplace, analytics and Azure are enhanced to deliver core business application services in Dynamics.”

Bambu offers a wealth management predictive planning solution for Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services

Bambu, a global wealth technology provider, has launched its wealth management predictive planning solution for Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services and Dynamics 365 Sales. With this service, relationship managers, financial advisors, agents, and companies in the financial sector can use predictive analytics to identify and prioritize their clients’ needs to help them do better which are business decisions, according to the company.

Wealth Management for Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services together with Wealth Management for Dynamics 365 Sales will enable users to predict and analyze important life events as well as suggest financial goals and solutions they can achieve to help with financial planning, the company said.

Softera connects to Nordigen’s open banking technology, combining existing bank account data with Microsoft software

Softera, a business management software provider, has integrated Nordigen’s open banking API connections into Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The company’s Softera.Docu-Bank solution automates collection and payment collection and offers integration between any European bank (Revolut, Santander, Barclays, Swedbank, PayPal and others) and D365BC. Nordigen’s APIs support this solution by integrating real-time bank data and facilitating the integration of multiple accounts, the companies said.

“Nordigen open banking integration facilitates greater connectivity and convenience for our customers,” said Edgaras Bencevicius, product development manager from Softera. “The data accessible through their APIs allows us to continue to build and innovate with the tools enabled by our Microsoft partnership.”

Synoptek announced a majority investment from Quad-C Management

Synoptek, a business and digital transformation advisory and consulting firm, announced a majority investment from private equity firm, Quad-C Management Inc.

Synoptek’s former private equity partner, Sverica Capital Management, invested in the company in 2015 and plans to remain a minority stakeholder, according to the company. Canaccord Genuity served as financial advisor to Synoptek and Sverica.

The increase in demand for Synoptek’s service offerings is driven in part by the widespread use of cloud platforms, such as Dynamics, Azure, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, AWS, and Google G-Suite, the company said.
