Core has completed the acquisition of Scotland-based MSP, CompanyNet

Core Technology Systems has acquired Scotland-based MSP and Microsoft Gold Partner, CompanyNet Limited. Core Technology’s areas of expertise include Dynamics CRM and CRM Online as well as Azure. The CompanyNet acquisition strengthens Core’s technical capabilities and enables the company to expand in Scotland, as the deal includes 25 employees and offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, according to the companies.

“We are focused on building capability and excellent service levels for our customers, and this acquisition means more capability and additional resources,” said Core Technology CEO Conor Callanan. “We have built long-term relationships with our customers and partners because they trust our delivery of service excellence, and this expansion provides an opportunity for us to add even more value to our existing and new customers.”

Focus Cloud acquires Cognitive Group to form new global cloud recruitment company

European-based IT recruitment group, Focus Cloud, has acquired specialist Microsoft recruitment firm, Cognitive Group, forming a new global company, Focus Cloud Group.

Cognitive Group’s areas of expertise include Dynamics and Power Platform, according to the companies. This partnership combines Cognitive’s expertise in Microsoft’s Workday recruitment solutions with Focus Cloud, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and cybersecurity recruitment services, the companies said.

The new brand will provide global recruitment solutions on major cloud platforms, including Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, the companies added. The new group will be led by CEO Lloyd Gordon, founder of Focus Cloud. And Jonathan Wright, the chairman of Cognitive, became the chairman for the new group.
