A new report from Virtual Vocations names 15 high-paying employers that are actively hiring remote roles.

For its latest report, published Monday, the all-remote job board took a deep dive into a recent Wall Street Journal analysis that examined 2021 median annual wage data for 450 publicly traded, based companies. in the US. The result is a comprehensive guide to remote job vacancies from 15 of the highest paying employers in the country.
In addition to ranking 15 high-paying, remote-enabled employers by median annual salary in 2021, the Virtual Vocations report puts that data into context by analyzing wage growth within each company year over year and analyzing how those numbers stack up against competitors.
Fourteen of the 15 companies featured by Virtual Vocations are among the top 20% in salary for their respective industries.
The report also revealed:
- The best median salary among employers on the list is between $295,884 and $135,528.
- The average combined salary at the top 15 high-paying remote companies is $202,827.
According to Virtual Vocations CEO and co-founder Laura Spawn, the new report serves as a roadmap for job seekers in their quests for “both flexibility and financial freedom while working from home.”
“While employees in 2022 need the work-life flexibility that telecommuting provides, amid rising inflation, recession fears, and a national unemployment rate that has taken two years to rebound since April 2020, they also need support their families and save for their futures,” said Spawn. “The good news is that telecommuters don’t have to sacrifice top dollar to work remotely full-time.”
