To further enhance the capabilities of the IT team, Nutanix announced enhanced integration and product features to simplify operations, in particular:
• Simplified DevOps: Nutanix Calm 3.0 will provide extended functionality and enhanced ServiceNow integration. Customers can now use ServiceNow’s approval process and review capabilities to automate their application lifecycle, including updates, patches, extensions, and more. They can also improve their security status by keeping their passwords in the CyberArc central vault, which is especially important for government and corporate customers. In addition to tight integration, Calm 3.0 also enables DevOps teams to easily automate workloads on an organization’s hybrid cloud infrastructure, and provides a language-specific (DSL) infrastructure based on Python as a blueprint for Code for to write a calm. Calm DSL provides all the rich features of Calm UI, but its additional benefits are version control, human-readable code, and even the most complex application scenarios.

Using this solution, customers will be able to automatically insert Nutanix Xi Beam cost and safety optimization recommendations into existing ServiceNow workflows, and automatically create trouble tickets based on cost savings recommendations and security breach alerts and assign them to appropriate owners.

Currently, the extended ServiceNow integration is available to customers, and Calm 3.0 is under development.
