Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Integration ServiceNow

Oracle

The publisher’s public cloud service Oracle Cloud Infrastucture announced the integration of ServiceNow, which will allow users to access and manage OCI resources through its ServiceNow portal and ServiceNow’s IT operations management application (ITOM) Visibility.

Therefore, companies will have a separate dashboard to manage the resources they use in different public cloud environments, whether it is at Oracle or other major cloud providers.

All discoverable Oracle Cloud resources are retrieved and stored in the configuration management database (CMDB), which can then be used to monitor the availability of IT services and operations. Coupling CMDB content with the AIOps solution can also monitor the load deployed in OCI and provide service context through label-based service mapping.

Scott Twaddle, VP of Product, relève: « This announcement is an important step forward for all customers who use Oracle and other major cloud providers to handle their most critical business applications. They can now use the existing ServiceNow portal to view and manage all cloud resources, including Oracle resources. ».
