The following are the main courses in France:
87% of French executives said the epidemic has caused their companies to rethink how they work. 76% of French employees (87% globally) said their company has created better working methods since the crisis broke out. 89% of French executives and 83% of employees said that their companies are transitioning to new working methods at an unprecedented speed. Among the French companies surveyed, COVID-19 operating expenses were reduced by 85% (88% globally), creating investment opportunities for digital transformation, R&D, marketing, and growth. The company has innovated rapidly, but it must accelerate its pace of development. Nearly half of French executives (47%) and more than half of employees (61%) believe that the transition to the new standard will be more difficult than the initial shock of COVID-19. The fact that most companies are at a disadvantage in terms of numbers makes this challenge even more serious. 96% of French executives admitted that they still have offline workflows, especially for document verification, security incident reporting and technical support requests. Progress has been made, but after several months of remote work, 60% of French executives and 62% of employees said their company still does not have a fully integrated system to manage digital workflows.
People are confident in the possibility of the company’s rapid transformation again
The new system developed and implemented during the COVID-19 emergency is seen by 76% of French employees as creating new and more effective working methods. However, these systems are still considered vulnerable to the next major disruption, and most executives and collaborators say that key business functions (such as customer service, human resources, and finance) will not operate. ‘Adapt within 30 days. It shows the need and opportunity for a powerful digital transformation throughout the enterprise.
Success means developing a more effective work organization and speed than competition
Although 99% of French managers and employees tout the benefits of telecommuting, the challenges have become more apparent. Both executives (89%) and employees (78%) expressed concern about its impact on the company’s development. The main focus and main benefits depend on your location. Executives are most concerned about results-delays in delivering products or services (56%), while employees are most concerned about input-reducing collaboration between business units (47%). French employees said that the time saved by avoiding commuting or business travel (63%) is the most profitable for them, while executives believe that better use of technology to improve efficiency (59%) is the biggest for their team Income. Resuming face-to-face work depends on the employee’s sense of security. Half of French employees (50%) believe that their company will prioritize business continuity over workplace safety. Even more surprising is that 31% of executives do the same. Even if the company strives to put safety first, many employees do not think they can do it, 38% of them said they don’t believe their company will take the necessary steps to ensure safety. Surprisingly, the executives agreed. Nearly one-third of French executives (30%) admit that they believe their company will not take the necessary measures to ensure their own safety.
“The COVID-19 has changed business at an unprecedented rate. To be honest, many people even think it is impossible. There are many discussions about adapting to the new standard, but for most companies, the reality is that there is only now, and with it What comes is constant change. The main challenge for European organizations is to find a balance between the urgent need for business continuity and the personal needs of employees, and to ensure that they are digitally prepared for the wave of change. Come. Achieve this balance. The key is to digitize the work at hand no matter where it happens.”
Chris Pope, Vice President of Innovation Services
