Rezilion’s new release identifies, prioritizes and remediates poor software

DevSecOps automation tools startup Rezilion Inc. announced today. the full availability of new, automated vulnerability management solutions.

Designed to identify, prioritize and fix weak software, Rezilion’s new management solution is built as uniquely solving challenges over software attacks by applying automation to all critical stages in the flow work on software security, giving security teams full-stack assurance and giving developers time back to develop more products.

Rezilion argues that while software attacks change rapidly, security, development and infrastructure teams that aim to secure their software cannot keep up. Difficulties include teams seeing only parts of the software attack at a time, accompanied by too many vulnerability alerts that are loud and confusing.

Facing teams are skeptical that too much patching takes time, but too little patching means the placement of backlogs is growing. These factors slow down change and open a window of danger from the exploitation of evil actors. That’s where Rezilion’s new automated vulnerability management solution comes in.

Features include in-depth vulnerability validation through the “Next Generation Vulnerability Database” of thousands of vulnerabilities pointed at the class and function level, enabling the understanding of whether a vulnerable file is that load into memory and whether the particular vulnerable class or function is actually executed. The feature is said to allow customers to prioritize close to 95% of detected software vulnerabilities and further reduce their patching backlogs.

Support for seamless integration with the release draws Rezilion directly into the development pipelines, providing instant feedback to customers and saving them time patching vulnerabilities. Remediation workflow integrations facilitate automated ticketing using tools including Jira and ServiceNow, and the fully automated remediation service capability will work on CI Pipelines to provide automated upgrades and testing of the vulnerable package that has proven to be exploitative.

“The enhancements we’re launching today are not only a revolution for our platform, but a sign of a more fundamental change in how our industry thinks about managing software attacks, as a whole,” Liran Tancman, co-founder and chief executive of Rezilion, said in a statement. “For a very long time, companies have had to compromise between the speed and security of their software products, a challenge that is ultimately caused by a vulnerability management toolset that may not work comprehensively, accurately, or immediately. as required by their business. “

Rezilion was late in the news in September when it raised $ 30 million in new funding to expand its operations and expand its products. JVP and Kindred Capital led the round.
