Head of SDI’s growing ServiceNow and Peer Recognized ITSM Practice
CHICAGO, June 16, 2022 / PRNewswire/-SDI Presence, LLC (SDI), the IT consultancy and managed services provider (MSP), has announced that Ric Mims, SDI Presence’s Director of ServiceNow Solutions, was honored by the technical support and service management industry with its 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented to HDI’s Mims at SupportWorld Live’s annual meeting last year May 18, 2022.

The award recognizes the long -term contribution, leadership, enthusiasm, and tireless efforts of industry celebrities who have dedicated themselves to raising the reputation of the technical support and service management profession.

Mims is a 28 -year veteran of the servicedesk management, ITSM, consulting, and operations industries. Ric has held a variety of positions throughout his career, from team leader to help desk manager to ITSM consultant. He has also served in numerous capacities for HDI, including as a member of the HDI Faculty, a frequent speaker at HDI conferences, and a former local chapter president. Ric’s most recent work covers project leadership for the planning, design, and implementation of ITSM initiatives for Occidental Petroleum, Charles Schwaband Cepheid BioTech, in addition to its current role at SDI.
